Philosophy:
Joanna McGlynn is an inter-disciplinary artist. Her practice incorporates drawing, textiles, writing, print, intervention and installation. Minimal lines are juxtaposed with injections of colour to create work that invites interactivity between object/material and its presence within a specific environment. Typically, the needle and thread become a drawing tool on paper.
